Additive Manufactured Thermoelectric Generator Systems

Common wisdom has been that you cannot cold spray semiconductor materials. Over the past seven years TTEC through its patented cold spray system design and processes has shown that cold spray technology can be used to deposit both N-type and P-type thermoelectric semiconductors on metallic, glass, ceramic, and organic foam surfaces.

Bismuth telluride, antimony telluride, and tetrahedrite semiconductors demonstrated.

The capability now exists to fully additively manufacture Thermoelectric Generator and Thermoelectric Cooler Systems using existing and emerging high performance thermoelectric materials.

Deposition on curved thermal surfaces, individual pellets, thick and thin layers, and graded composition materials has been demonstrated
