Cold-Sprayed Materials Performance

TTEC collaborated with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) to develop Additive Manufactured Thermoelectric Generator Technology. LLNL through a TCF Grant from DOE characterized both cold sprayed and low density composite materials fabricated by TTEC using TTEC patented VCS equipment, and processes.

Semiconductor materials are deposited at virtually 100% density. Several N- and P-type bismuth telluride formulations and P-type Tetrahedrite semiconductor materials have been demonstrated, and our patented cold spray technology and low density thermoelectric semiconductor technologies are applicable to a wide range of energy harvesting and sensor applications.
